Fostering an atmosphere of relaxation while inspiring creativity in a client-centered approach to therapy. Providing a safe space to explore emotions, and encouraging a new form of communication to take place within the therapeutic space and within ourselves. Working creatively in the treatment setting allows clients to view themselves differently - as active partners instead of passive clients - in the work of becoming balanced (emotionally, physically, and spiritually). Creating art helps transform an emotionally charged environment and humanize the treatment center while allowing patients the ability to process and respond to their experiences in a healthy manner.
Come and enjoy my approach to therapy that incorporates the creative mind as well as traditional psychoanalysis to reestablish and solidify your identity, ground and focus your thought process through the direction of structure tasks/directives, and attain healthy skills to cope with stress and triggers that occur in our daily lives.
